ATISHIYA, And The Miraculous Sneeze!

For any myth to begin there has to be a supreme power to reign over the existence of whatever is present. So there were Gaya and Kaya, the two mighty gods ruling the good and the evil world respectively.

Gaya had supreme power as he was in possession of the silver feather by means of which he could see the future (keeping it under his pillow and sleeping overnight),making Kaya the most envious god. This was one of the key reasons for the Great Combat to take place later which lead to the rise of gods and goddesses.

One night Gaya had a dream where he saw Kaya reigning over his world and pervading it with dark forces. So to avoid this Gaya took Kaya to the 3rd world where amidst the dark was shining a tree with a silver aura. This tree was no ordinary tree. It could talk! The tree was called ‘FECUND’.

When Kaya and Gaya were 10 steps away from the tree, Gaya asked Kaya to go near the tree and get him Atishiya, (who was tied to the tree with a golden rope) and in return he promised to give him the silver feather. At first Kaya was a little apprehensive, but finally he gave in and started walking towards the tree (where ATISHIYA was tied) and he got startled upon hearing a deep loud voice coming from the tree. The magical tree said, “Well, Kaya, I know you are here to rescue Atishiya, but before that you will have to solve a riddle which will determine your future.” Bemused, Kaya replied, “What riddle?” Fecund smiled, and said, “I am your creation existing deep inside of you, forming a progressive incoherent pattern, thereby allowing anything and everything possible if I am well determined. Who am I?” Kaya was as baffled as he was to determine the answer of the riddle. He thought and contemplated. And finally he replied, “It is my imagination!” Amazed, Fecund said, “Well done! You’re correct. It is your imagination. Now, since you answered my riddle correctly, I give you the power of making your imagination come to life! It’s a great power with immense responsibility, so be careful of what you imagine, it will have alternative consequences.” Upon hearing this Kaya was elated. So, as Kaya began untying Atishiya, he was entranced by her exotic beauty and in an instant fell in love with her. That is when he started to scheme the Great Combat and decided to get Atishiya from Kaya, and have her all to himself. But all this would happen in due course of time. So for now Gaya untied Atishiya and he attained the power to give birth to his imagination.

Atishiya was an untouched exotic beauty. Before Atishiya could walk away from there, the magical tree stopped her and gave her a golden feather just like the one Gaya possessed; only this one would make her see the past. Now Atishiya walked towards her brother and the only love of her life, Gaya.

As promised, Gaya gave the silver feather to Kaya who returned to his world, thrilled at the thought of owning the great silver feather and bringing his imagination to life, of which he planned to keep Gaya aloof.

Gaya, ecstatic, smiled at Atishiya and she smiled back saying “thank you” and a tear fell from her eyes onto the ground which turned into flowing water the minute it touched the earth. She could feel the water touching her feet which caused her to sneeze and out came green dust which turned into trees and plants, FAIRIES and elves and goblins. She sneezed again, and this time came the silver dust which turned into different animals including the dragon. Again she sneezed but this time, golden dust came out which turned into man and woman (Adam and Eve).

While Atishiya was busy sneezing and creating the world Kaya was also busy imagining a crystal clear blue sky with birds and an entire human race with an ulterior motive which would only be discovered in due course of time. Kaya also could not stop thinking about Atishiya and how he would express his love for her. He started scheming and devising a plan for the Great Combat. It took him centuries to come up with a plan which would guarantee his victory and glorify him in the great combat. He was ready now.

So, centuries after Kaya had rescued Atishiya from the tree he decided to visit his friend and his fantasy lover. He went to the good world where he was welcomed by Gaya along with Atishiya. The minute Gaya saw her, all the memories of the sleepless nights of dreaming about her came back. He told himself to be patient and go according to the plan he had devised. So, Kaya made the first move of his plan (which would soon lead to the great combat), he challenged Gaya to a game of PETTA and placed a bet where the winner would marry Atishiya.

On hearing this Atishiya was shocked, but Gaya as calm as ever said, “Okay, my friend, I agree, the winner will marry Atishiya.” Upon hearing what Gaya said, Atishiya ran into her room to retrieve the golden feather. She held it in her hand and closed her eyes in order to see what in the past had happened that made Kaya so overly confident to challenge Gaya and place a bet to marry her. She was concentrating hard and in a hazy cloud she saw the past… she saw Gaya asking Kaya to free her and in return Kaya would be in possession of the silver feather… all this she knew… but she was perturbed when she saw the tree blessing Kaya with the power to give birth to his imagination. Atishiya then saw that for the past 3 months Kaya had been devising a plan to marry her and rule over all the 3 worlds( the good, the evil and the earth).. She tried to see what his plan was… She concentrated more and more… But she was unsuccessful in unfolding the mysterious plan. But she knew this was dangerous as Kaya was a devious god who would go to any heights to get what he wanted. Worried and disturbed Atishiya decided that she would go to the 3rd world (earth) and ask for help from the man and woman that she created…

Meanwhile the 2 mighty gods had started playing the game of Petta. (It was a board game requiring 2 players. There are 8 pebbles each of black and white color. The rules of this game were simple. The player could move a pebble at a time within a box horizontally, vertically or diagonally… And if the opponent’s pebble was a box away the player could eliminate his pebble and obtain that box gaining an extra turn. The player who was left with the most pebbles in the end was proclaimed the winner. Gaya was still in possession of 4 of his pebbles as opposed to Kaya’s one lonesome pebble. Gaya was as calm as the silent sea on earth, but suddenly the sea became rough and to Gaya’s utter amazement he saw that none of his white pebbles were left on the board… They vanished into thin air! He couldn’t believe what he was seeing! All he saw was the lonesome black pebble on the board. His disbelieving eyes could not allow him to understand what was happening. He stammered and spoke up, “How…? What? Where the hell did my 4 pebbles go? They were here a moment ago!?” Kaya, gleaming with joy said, “You must be hallucinating, my friend… All I see is my one and only black pebble, which means that I have won! Where is Atishiya?” Disturbed, Gaya forgot about everything else when Kaya mentioned Atishiya’s name. It was slowly sinking in that he had lost… it wouldn’t matter if he had lost any other game of Petta but this one… where Atishiya was concerned…. it made a hell of a lot of difference.. He had just lost the love of his life to his only ‘friend.’ He was in a fine dilemma!

Kaya was elated by the fact that he had won by the means of his imagination coming alive and now he was going to marry Atishiya. But where was SHE??

With the creation of humanity… earth was flourishing with life. Animals, birds, humans … even fairies, goblins, ghosts, elves and dragons… they all lived in harmony until the great day of ‘helius’( the day when everything changed forever… the day when the harmony was destroyed… the day when the great combat started to take shape.)

It was a sunny day when Sia the beautiful fairy was sitting by the beach. Her hair was flying with the cool breeze; her face was glowing in the sun. She certainly was the most beautiful fairy! As she was dreaming she was brought to reality when she heard her name being shouted. “Sia! Come quick! Romano(the great warrior prince) and Karrossa( have gotten into a serious quarrel. They are in the mighty DRITIOUS. You must stop them! Come let’s go!” it was the voice of Salem(the mischievous elf adored by all ) on hearing her lover’s name(Romanov) Sia quickly took out her wand and it was a matter of seconds when Sia and Salem were in the Dritious .

Sia could hear the screams and see the bright yellow fire blazing out of Karrossa’s mouth. Her heart skipped a beat every time she saw Romanov escape his death. She called out his name, “Romanov!” but he couldn’t hear her. She took out her wand, and froze the fire coming out of Karrossa’s mouth which instantly made Romanov realize the presence of his love, Sia. Kra was under the spell and could not move. Sia made her way towards Romanov. “Are you alright? What happened? What was the reason behind this fight?” ROMANOV catching his breath replied, “Hera is in danger! Karrossa wanted to steal it…what could he want with this precious destructive stone? Unless….”. Sia didn’t know what was to be done. She was clueless! She had never before heard of Karrossa and she had absolutely no clue as to why he would want HERA. “ Sia! He‘s gone!! And so is HERA! O Atishiya! The earth…. Destruction…” Sia tried to calm Romanov who was perplexed as he was responsible for protecting the stone… but he had failed… at that moment SIA couldn’t think of anything but informing her father UMBELLUF (the elf and the member of the supreme council) of the catastrophe that had just happened.

FLASHBACK: why Karrosaa wanted the HERA. AND Karrossa’S HISTORY

As a child Karrossa was abandoned by his parents as he had symptoms of the PELOB, but somehow he survived. His spirit was very much alive. He grew up in the segregated town of EURONOMOSAKI. It was his 20th birthday that he decided to put an end to his sorry life and go to HABABA. It was in a bar when KARROSSA was drinking TiLa that his eyes fell upon LAILA (a female dragon). There was something about her which drew Karrossa’s attention…and provoked him to make conversation with her.

“Hossa ! May I say today is the most beautiful day as my eyes are greeted with yours, my lovely damsel! Care for another drink of TILA?” Surprised on his own confidence he made himself comfortable on the ground. He ordered another drink for Laila . The table was 10 feet high made of steel, across which he had been captivated by the stranger. He then asked her, “May I know the name of the damsel for whom I’m buying a drink?” The stranger smirked and replied, “Call me, LAILA. Are you new here? I’ve never seen around you before”. KARROSSA replied, “Yea I jus came today from…ummm… this town nearby.” He then changed the subject by announcing that it was his birthday today, as he didn’t want Laila to know about his past. In fact he decided to bury his past and start afresh. He wanted to forget all about his miserable life in the Euronomosaki and anticipate what the future held for him. But little did he know what future had stored for him. He had just met the daughter of the DIGASA who was a political leader of the dragon community trying to overthrow the supreme council because of their ignorance towards their community. But KARROSSA, naïve and unaware of all this had just entered the ‘unsafe zone’ where he would be tested and made to go against his will and perform tasks unacceptable by the supreme council and his sub-conscious self.

So, Karrossa spent his 20th birthday with the captivating damsel. He was very happy for the first time in his life. It was late and Laila decided that she should leave but karrossa didn’t want the night to end so he probed her  to know if she could stay. But Laila, instead of staying offered him to come to her place as she found out he had no place to stay. The conniving person that she was made her decide to make Karrossa meet her father as she thought he fitted the bill for the bait who could get the Hera ( as planned by the Digasa ).
